The Parc Écotouristique in the Laurentides MRC is a site of exceptional value as much for its historic background as for its cultural and natural qualities. It is in fact a former fish farm, which closed in 1992, but whose buildings and tanks are still in place. The Parc sits on some 90 hectares of land with a mixed forest environment, waterways and wetlands.
Today, visitors can access the site freely and wander around in an enchanting setting, following the various trails and pathways. There are also some magnificent gardens to visit on the site. Thanks to the information panels and the recent restoration of forest paths, visitors can learn a great deal about the aquatic ecosystems, wetlands and the forest itself, while respecting the natural milieu.
Open: open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
